 Regional economics is an applied subject that studies the characteristics of the regional economic operation and its law of development from an economic point of view. It mainly studies issues such as regional economic development conditions, operational elements, development strategies, development policies, sustainable development, resource integration and regional spatial structure . The goal of training is to have a sound theoretical foundation of economics and a more systematic expertise in regional economics; to be able to integrate theory with practice; to have the ability to observe and analyze regional economic problems; to implement regional economic policies; and to carry out specific tasks in regional economic management.

Training Objectives: To cultivate specialized personnel who have solid theoretical foundation and systematic professional knowledge and who can engage in the research, teaching, regional planning and management of regional economics.
